I have Carpal Tunnel syndrome, neck pain, lower back pain, and chronic headache, so I always wanted to get acupuncture to cure my problems.

I took Western medicine for pain and it worked, but it also had side effects. That’s why I have stomach disease after a while taking that medicine.

Looking for a good doctor is really a long journey! But this and many other things have changed since the day I stepped into J Acupuncture.

One day I read a Vietnamese newspaper and saw an advertisement of J Acupuncture. I had a lot of questions and suspision about this clinic. And my knowledge as well as understanding about Korean community is very little; all information I had was from newspaper and Internet. Whenever I read newspaper, I saw bad news about Korean people, such as Korean managers took advantage of their employees, exploit their workers or mistreated them, or Korean men who have Vietnamese wives did not appreciate them and even beat them to death.  

Then more questions arose in my mind. I thought acupuncture treatments would cost me $40- $60 each time, but I couldn’t communicate well with the doctors because of language barrier. I thought there would be a huge wall between the doctors and me.

Those were my thoughts after I finished reading.

Then I wondered if Dr. Noh is really good, or if he is a good person, or if he could help me treat my endless pain, or if his technique could realy work for me, or if it hurts when he puts the needles on my body, or if his clinic is clean or not, or if he is the same as other cruel Korean men I read on the newspaper, or if he really wants to help patients or just wants to collect money. I thought with only $20 per treatment, he would see me for 5 minutes.

However, I told myself to try one time. If this clinic is not clean and the doctors are not good, I will stop coming.

I don’t know if this is my luck or fate that I found J Acupuncture. No matter what the answer is, I am greateful to God and all of the doctros at J Acupuncture.

During the first two weeks, my wrists got better; the pain and twitching feeling in my wrists reduced so much.And the doctors are also gentle when putting the needes. I couldn’t realize when Dr. Noh put the needles.

My lower back pain got less and less. And then I saw Dr. Choo for my Migraine headache which I’ve had for 5 years. I had to say I felt 80% better and I did not have to take Western medicine for Migraine anymore.

The doctors are not only very good but also caring as an old Vietnamese saying “Great doctors treat you like real mothers”. They always care for my health and explain to me about my problems as well as answering my questions. There is no distance between patients and doctors in this clinic. They always explain to me clearly about my concern.

The doctors here merely serve patients instead of making their fortune. Care not only comes from the doctors but also from Jennifer, the assistant! She’s caring, nice, good-hearted to all patients. Her priority is respect towards patients, and she works as hard as the doctors. It’s amazing!

If I had to score this clinic from 1 to 10 with 10 is the highest, J Acupuncture would absolutely deserve number 10.
