Acupuncture

Acupuncture treats health conditions by stimulating "Acu-points" found at specific locations on the surface of the body. Acupuncturists stimulate the acu-points by inserting very thin needdles through the skin to produce physiological effects. Stimulation of the appropriate acu-points helps to restrore sufficient, continuous and even flow of Qi and other nutrients throughout the body, restoring health and balance to the body while relieving pain and other symptoms. 


Auricula Acupuncture

Auriculo-therapy is a procedure in which stimulation of the auricle of external ear is utilized to alleviate health conditions in other parts of the body. Every part of the external ear connects through the microsystem remote reflexes to every part of the body, a wide variety of health problems are relieved. 


Cupping

Cupping is a method of treating disease by causing local congestion. A partial vaccum is created in jars or plastic cups which are then applied to the skin, drawing up the underlying tissues and forming blood stasis.


Gua Sha

Gua Sha is an East Asian healing technique. Gua means to scrape or rub. Sha is a 'reddish, elevated, millet-like skin rash' (aka petechiae). Gua Sha is one technique that intentionally raises Sha rash or petechiae. Gua Sha is used whenever a patient has pain whether associated with an acute or chronic disorder. In addition to resolving musculo skeletal pain, Gua Sha is used to treat as well as prevent common cold, flu, bronchitis, asthma, as well as any chronic disorder involving pain,congestion of Qi and Blood.


Kinesio Taping

Kinesio taping therapy is taping over and around muscles in order to assist and give support or to prevent over-contraction. It gives support and stability to your joints and muscles without affecting circulation and range of motion. It is also used for preventive maintenance, edema and pain management. 


Moxibustion

Moxibustion is a traditional chinese medicine technique that involves the burning of mugwort, a small spongy herb, to facilitate healing. The burning of moxa is believed to expel cold, warm the meridians, strengthen the blood circulation, stimulate the flow of Qi and maintain general health.


Tui Na

Tui Na uses rhythmic compression along energy channels of the body, as well as a variety of techniques that manipulate and lubricate the joints. Like acupressure, Tui Na directly affects the flow of energy by holding and pressing the body at acupressure points. Many of the techniques are similar like gliding, kneading, percussion, friction, pulling, rotation, rocking, vibration, and shaking. Despite the similarities, the intent of Tui Na is more specifically therapeutic than the simple relaxation of a Swedish-style massage.
